Much like its fellow emirates, Ras al Khaimah views the future as a world of opportunity, most evident in the capital city of the same name (also called Ra’s al Khaymah or RAK).
Although its skyline is not yet as dramatic as Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, RAK still has plenty of skyscrapers, many housing hotels and apartments on Booking.com. Some overlook its long, sandy beach, alongside luxury resorts. Watersports activities include diving, and to the south-west is Ice Land waterpark.
Desert safaris are a great way to explore the rugged terrain behind the city, site of Al Sawan camel racetrack and Ras al Khaimah Airport. One of the world’s first spaceports is also planned to be out here.
Saqr Park on the capital’s outskirts is the largest UAE park, and the Tower Links Golf Club is another green spot by a lagoon joined to the sea via Ras al Khaimah Creek. The nearby beachfront Corniche is a popular picnic spot, with landscaped gardens and lots of boutiques and cafés.
More shops are in Manar Mall and the ‘Little India’ district of Al Nakheel. The old city has a bustling souk and the National Museum of Ras al Khaimah, housed in Al Hisn Fort. Another important sight is majestic Sheikh Zayed Mosque with its 4 graceful minarets.

My rating of Ras Al Kaimah is based solely on Longbeach Campsite and not any of the surroundings. The fees charged by Longbeach Campsite for the unit I hired is ludicrous and I would strongly recommend that no-one book that unit at that price.

Do not book through Booking.com as they over charge over hotel tariff and also the hotel doesn't refund in case you shorten your trip. For example the hotel staffs here told me the tariff is actually 160-200 AED and booking .com charged me over 250. I finished the job early and checked out one night earlier but they made me pay for entire period as booking .com had already got their commission .

The Northern Emirates are a real gem, providing a completely different experience from Dubai/ Abu Dhabi. Because it is close to the mountains and the Omani border, there are new places to visit. Really worthwhile!

Raw Al khaimah is much less impressive than other emirates. The city is very widespread. There are few tourist sites. The major attractions are extreme high end resorts and some high adrenaline activities. Buses quite infrequent. Lots of malls.

One of the best suites we have stayed so far in Ras al KHAIMAH. The check in was seamless, thanks to Mr. Sadi. Special thanks to Diana for going all out and helping us booking a good apartment on.the ground floor. The pool and the Jacuzzi was spot on and maintained very well. The buffet breakfast was one of the highlights and we would like to thank the chef at the restaurant for arranging the breakfast for us.
Overall it was a fantastic stay when compared with Hilton resort which is right opposite the Mughal Suites..😀
We liked every bit of our stay right from the alloted room @333 with beautiful senic view from balcony, ease of access to all areas around the resort. Fun filled activities organized throughout the day and night.
Thank you to all BM resort members for their excellent support.
Special thanks to Mrs Kumari at Osasis Restraunant. Made my 50th Birthday memorable.
Staying in Ras Al Khaimah since year 2006, stayed at many hotels in other Emirates, would rate this as one of my best hotel stay.
In my opinion - the best hotel on Marjan island.
Very nice food, nice drinks.
Clean and spacious rooms.
Staff is welcoming and helpful.
There are always enough sunbeds both on the beach and at pool area.
Enjoyed all the evening shows, animation team is very professional together with the sport activities in a separate area during the day (organized by the same team I guess).
All the pools are heated.
I would like to thank mr roshan and his team , and thanks a lot to mr ahdi to make my check-in very easy and simple and so fast he is very helpful, again big thanks for the best manager in all of redisson group ms asma for taking care as im hotel guest and asking about room quality any and needs and required in room facilities She did her best to make me satisfied and comfortable
You have excellent staff. The hotel is outstanding not only because of the food and because it is the Ritz carlton but because your staff has the highest standards. Just every staff we met. AWESOME. A special shout out to very special people who make your guests special.
The villa is located in a new development in Ras Al Khaimah, with access to a beautiful beach. The villa is more spacious than the images portray, with a big modern open kitchen, overlooking the garden and private pool, comfortable beds and good amenities!
Everything, apart from the fact that the view is into one building, but from the right side you can see Ras Al Khaimah's mangroves, so it's all fine. New property, comfortable bed, spacious closet. Clean bathroom, all amenities available.
This was our first time to stay in Rixos Bab Al Bahr. The hotel facilities is the major plus big pools, water slides that the kids loved, beach, kids club and amazing entertainment shows. Restaurants food quality and variety was good.
For folks looking to enjoy peace and quiet with lots of privacy, the farmhouse stay is a great vacation. The pictures on booking.com is what you actually get to enjoy. It is half hour from the city in Ras Al Khaimah.
Location Is perfect 👌 staff is good but management is totally disappointed if you want to stay in ras al khaimah so please don't wast your money on location go for comfort to stay another hotel.
The staff was very friendly. Food on breakfast and dinner was good. We had a half meal plan and the option were good. The hotel is big and amazing, with a lot of people but you didn't feel that.
