Built in 1908, the Hotel Saturnia & International has always been run by the Family Serandrei (now to the 4th generation). The Hotel Saturnia & International has become an important reference for all hotels in the town, then it is one of the few family-owned 4 star hotels.

Positioned on Via XXII Marzo, a main street in central Venice which connects famous St. Mark’s Square to the Accademia art Galleries, this 4-star hotel boasts a range of facilities.

Restaurants and Bars

La Caravella Restaurant is a typical and traditional restaurant and is among the best in Venice. It is located close to St. Marks square, in Via XXII Marzo, one of the most important streets in the city.

Open since the early 1960s, the restaurant boasts a unique ambience and very warm and professional welcome. This tradition has been guaranteed thanks to the constant presence of the Serandrei family.

La Caravella restaurant has traditional dishes which follow the seasonality of products to respond to the lighter needs of a modern life style.

From May to September, meals are served in the typical Venetian courtyard, where the wells, tranquillity and elegance, make a perfect setting for an unforgettable culinary experience.

Directions

From Marco Polo airport
with a private water taxi, which leaves from the pier ( about 10 minutes walk from the exit ) and travels directly (tide permitting) to our dock at the back of the hotel (always better to agree the fare prior to embarking) in about 30 minutes.
Taking the alilaguna shuttle service ( about 10 minutes walk from the exit ) which also travels from the airport pier and reaches ST. Mark's in about 60 minutes. From there it is a 300 metres walk to via xxii marzo, where we are.
Assisted transfer is also available; just get in touch with our concierge at least 24 hours before your arrival. He will be pleased to give you all information about cost and details. This transfer has to be paid cashonly directly to the concierge upon arrival or departure.

From Piazzale Roma (car terminal)
by private Taxi-Boat, 20 minutes about. Tide permitting directly to our private dock; take only authorized taxi, which can be recognized by a yellow stripe and a license number painted on the sides of the boat. Agree upon a fare before embarking.
Using the public Water-Bus (vaporetto) lines 1 or 82; stop ST. Mark's (calle vallaresso) at about 300 metres walk from the hotel. The trip takes about 40 minutes and the cost of the ticket is approximately 6,00 euro per person.

From Santa Lucia train station
as from piazzale roma either by private Taxi-Boat or by public vaporetto to ST. Mark's (calle vallaresso) lines 1 or 82
