This charming and exclusive hotel sits in the heart of the state capital of Bavaria, right next to the "Hauptbahnhof" main train station and "Karlsplatz/Stachus".

The exhibition grounds, the airport and the Allianz Arena are all easily and quickly accessed with the S-bahn or U-bahn train, which are both very nearby.

Please note that we are planning to install a lift to make your stay even more comfortable in the future.

By Car
A8 from Salzburg
At the end of the Munich - Ramersdorf highway you have to go straight on to the Rosenheimer Street in the direction of the city center. Then go across the Ludwig bridge over Isar to the Zweibrückenstrasse up to the Isartorplatz. Turn to left at the Isar gate on to the Frauenstrasse (passing the Viktualienmarkt), across the Blumenstrasse and Sendlinger Torplatz on to the Sonnenstraße. Just before the Karlsplatz (Stachus) turn to left on the Schwanthalerstrasse and follow this street to the Goethestrasse. Turn right and you will find us on the left side.
A8 from Augsburg/Stuttgart
At the end of the highway always in the direction of the city centre (Verdistraße, Amalienburgstraße, Menzinger Straße, Notburgastraße). At Romanplatz turn half left on to the Arnulfstrasse. Go straight up to the main station (on the north side). Then turn to right towards Bahnhofplatz and go straight on to the Schillerstrasse. At the signal of the Schiller/Schwanthalerstrasse turn to right and follow this to the Goethestrasse. Turn right and you will find us on the left side.

A9 from Nürnberg
At the end of the Munich-Schwabing highway turn to right on to the Schenkendorfstraße and then left on to the Leopoldstraße, which you have to follow till the end of the Feldherrnhalle. There turn to right on to the Briennerstrasse and up to the next big crossing. Here turn to left on to the Sonnenstrasse and straight up to the Karlsplatz. Now turn to right on Schwanthalerstrasse and follow this street to the Goethestrasse. Turn right and you will find us on the left side.

A95 from Garmisch-Partenkirchen & A96 from Lindau
Turn to left at the end of the Garmischer Straße (Middle Ring) highway. Keep going straight and after about 1 km in the subway turn to right in the direction of the city center on to the Landsberger street. The Landsberger street turns on to the Schwanthalerstrasse after a diversion. At the signal of the Schwanthalerstrasse/Goethestrasse turn to right, and you will find us on the left side.

By Airplane
From the international airport of Munich “Franz-Josef-Strauss” it is about 40 minutes ride in the inner city to the main station. You can use public transport (suburban railway No. 1 and 8) or the Lufthansa shuttle bus to reach the main station. Please use the exit going in the “Bayerstrasse/Geothestrasse” direction. Go straight at the first signal, cross the Bayerstrasse and go further to the Schwanthalerstrasse. At this signal go a little further and after about 25 m you come to hotel Goethe on the right side of the Goethestrasse.

By Train
End of the train journey takes us quickly (approx. 3 minutes walk) from the main station. Please use the exit going in the “Bayerstrasse/Geothestrasse” direction. Go straight at the first signal, cross the Bayerstrasse and go further to the Schwanthalerstrasse. At this signal go a little further and after about 25 m you come to hotel Goethe on the right side of the Goethestrasse.
